ChildFund International is a nonprofit organization working toward a world where every child is free to live at their fullest potential, no matter where they’re from or what challenges they face.
None of us choose where we are born.
None of us choose to be born in extreme poverty — including the nearly 400 million of the world’s children who live in the world’s poorest places, where they’re deprived of their basic rights and necessities, excluded from opportunity and vulnerable to harm.
400 million is an awfully big number, too big to tackle. No one person can save that many.
But what if you could help one child?
What if you could help one child save herself?
Through child sponsorship, you can.
Why Child Sponsorship with ChildFund?
Every child is a world of possibilities, no matter where they’re born. This includes you — just as it includes every child growing up in extreme poverty.
Why sponsor a child with ChildFund International? Because you can connect with a child living in one of the world’s poorest places and help expand all of their possibilities that poverty would diminish.
- Because your friendship and encouragement help them believe in their potential and inspire them to live it fully, every day.
- Because your financial contribution joins with gifts from other caring ChildFund sponsors to help improve life right in the community where your sponsored child lives.
- Because your emotional and financial support add up to a connection greater than its parts.
- Because your sponsored child will change your life and make your world bigger.
- Because every child matters.

WHAT ABOUT BAD WEATHER
The safety of all humans and animals are our primary concern so any notifications regarding bad weather closings will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages. The Farm will remain open during periods of light scattered rain unless there is a threat of severe weather. CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?
Sure pack a lunch and have a picnic anytime or sit at any of the complementary tables as available. During any of the Festivals or Events we will have several Food Truck options available plus snacks available at the Farm Store. No holding tables for groups or parties. We ask you to help us keep the farm clean from debris by disposing of all trash after eating. We’re easy…just clean up after yourselves.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
We love animals but only trained service dogs on a leashed are allowed on the farm. Personal comfort or emotional support animals do not qualify as service dogs under ADA standards and are not permitted. Note that they are not allowed to enter any animal petting area. You must pick-up after your animal around the farm to ensure all guests are safe from Fido’s little land minds. If your animal harms any guest or farm animal then the owner will be held liable for all damages and costs.
We do offer groups reduced rates as long as tickets are purchased online in advance. If you are a school group, please visit our Field Trip page for special pricing on tours.

Do not approach the Bison fence at any time because Bison are wild animals as they can be easily provoked if they feel threatened. Also the fence surrounding them is electric and will give you a sever shock if touched. Please keep your kids away from the fence since they likely will not read the warning signs.

It is important to use a flat hand when feeding the animals. Animals approved for hand-feeding include goats, sheep, ducks, llamas and alpacas. Do NOT feed horses, donkeys, pigs or rabbits from your hand as these animals can and will bite.
All animals naturally carry diseases that can make you sick. Thankfully, there are things you can do to protect yourself and your children from them.
Always wash your hands after being around animals.A hand-washing stations can be found near the Petting Zoo and Sanitation stations in many locations around the farm.
